At Christ Episcopal Church, Christian formation among our youth and their families is engaged organically and creatively.  Each semester, our Youth and Families Director, Denise Womer, creates a unique curriculum that combines  service, fellowship, outreach, and worship to complement children and youth Christian formation.  We believe that when children are engaged in doing the work that Jesus asks us to do, seeds of faith are planted within both our children and their families.  By the grace of God, these faith seeds will germinate more fully as our children, youth, young adults and even older adults work together by doing God’s work in our neighborhood.  For more information on our Youth and Family Ministry, please contact Denise at 603-545-9488 or via email at: youthandfamilies@christchurchvt.org

 Youth and Family News:

BOB Drive (Bag of Basics) On October 16th immediately following the 10:00 AM Service, we will walk to Rite Aid Pharmacy to help our children select basic (unscented if possible) necessities for this year’s drive. Last year, we helped collect thousands of donated items that were then distributed to local nonprofit agencies. Let’s do it again! The official congregation roll out will be Sunday, October 23rd, during Youth in Church Sunday! Volunteers are needed to staple flyers to the bags. Please contact Denise Womer at 603-545-9488 or youthandfamilies@christchurchvt.org if you are able to help.

“Pipes and Pizza” On Sunday, October 23rd, immediately following the 10:00AM service, Lynette Combs, our Organist and Choirmaster will lead a “Get to know the Organ Event.”  Children of all ages are welcome to attend. Let’s learn, sing and share pizza and beverages together in the Sanctuary. Volunteers are needed for set up and clean up. Please contact Denise Womer at 603-545-9488 or youthandfamilies@christchurchvt.org if you can help out. Thank you!
